Hello guys, so about week ago i swapped my motherboard with new one.. Windows 10 did his thing and installed drivers for new motherboard (i think so) although yesterday i was checking something on CPU-Z and i saw that NB Frequency was running at 199 MHz!!!! I remember that on my old Motherboard NB Frequency was something like 1700MHz... I dont konw if there is something missing or why is NB running so low... i downloaded latest drivers for chipset but still CPU-Z was showing 199 MHz
NEW MOTHERBOARD: GIGABYTE GA-F2A55M-S1
OLD MOTHERBOARD: Asus A55BM-K
CPU: AMD Athlon x4 860K
RAM: 8GB Hyperx fury 1888MHz (although CPU-Z is showing 931MHz)
GPU: Radeon HD 7770 2GB

Solution
It might be specific with your CPU? Maybe only the 199MHz is enough for the memory controller to do what it is supposed to do, a more efficient MC. Internal Memory Controller.
CPU is running fine, NB frequency is what i am worried about.. My friend has same motherboard and on his PC NB is 1800MHz.
I Check in BIOS and NB frequency was on auto (1800MHz) I also Downloaded Speccy and there is also 199MHz on NB..
I was playing metal gear solid V on max setting but NB was cold (which i think is not normal) I dont konw what is causing CPU-Z or any other similar app to show that number... (power saving mode is not turned on)
I dont even know what NB Frequency is to be honest!

Yes, I am playing metal gear solid 5 max setting on 40 fps.. I thought NB Frequency was North bridge frequency or something like that.
Bu still i dont understand why is it showing 199MHz instead of 1800MHz (which was confirmed in BIOS)

Okay, so I manually adjusted nb frequency to 1800 MHz thought BIOS and now CPU-Z is actually showing 1800mhz but NB is now allways running at that speed, could that be harmful for something and will overclocking it improve performance?
