I have a less than one year old acer laptop with these features:
When displaying the GPU in, say, dxdiag, I see I have an Intel Graphics card, but with GPU-Z I can see I have the one I mentioned before. I asked about this in the past and I was told the computer would switch between these two as it needed.
My problem is that I see a low performance when playing videogames. I have a really low fps playing BF3 or GTA IV with medium graphic settings. This got worse over time. I consider with my settings I should be able to play these games with high settings and high fps.
I have desktop computer with an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4 GHz (4 cores), 4 GB DDR2 and a AMD Radeon HD 6850 and these games work perfectly with high settings, pretty high fps. Furthermore, the hard drive is almost full and when using different software, browsing the web or using the file explorer can be a pain, but when it's a matter of a game it works alright.
Aren't my latter computer's specifications worse than the laptop's (especially the memory)?
