Low performance on low end games

Hi, im having problem running games smoothly, for example i ge 53 fps in League of Legends while not much is happening, but as soon as there is a lot of action it drops to 25-35, i would like to ask what is causing this trouble.

CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) II X4 630 Processor
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series
Ram: Kingston 8GB KIT DDR3 1600MHz CL9 HyperX blu Edition
PSU: Corsair cx 500

I think its CPU being bad, but it shouldnt drop to 25 fps on medium settings with 1280x1024 monitor.

Your CPU is pretty weak, and might be hindering your ram.

Do you think AMD FX-6300 would be enough for my setup? I pretty much dont care about quality, medium settings are fine as long as game is fluid.

hmm my second question did get posted, anyways:
have you tried turning down ALL the settings on league to as low as possible? and then slowly increasing them from there? maybe just turn off AA and shadows?

A new cpu depends on the socket your motherboard uses, but i have a feeling your motherboard doesnt use the socket of an FX series processor, but if you got a new mobo and CPU yes that could make a pretty big difference.

Your CPU should be fine (yes it is old, but it shouldn't be hindering low end games).

There may be a driver issue somewhere or possibly your video card...

So i tried installing the new drivers, i think performance is better but FPS still drops when there is a lot of animations going on.
