Low Performance on my laptop

Ok, i recently brought a lenovo laptop and my specs are-
Processor- i7-5500U@ 2.40ghz
Ram-6gb
Graphics drivers-
Intel hd 5500
AMD radeon r5 m230
but the games i play like tf2, Minecraft, etc i get barely 25 fps
how could that be?????
my previous laptop had intel hd 4000 with like 32vram and i had the same performance???

First of all this is completely expected. All Intel HD Graphics are simply not ment to do anything else other than your usual school or office work, video play back and light online gaming or very old non demanding games.

Also make sure you are not thermal throttling. Use CPUZ to find out if your CPU is running at it's designated speed. The manufacturer may have made it so that the clock speed is drastically lowered when the laptop gets a bit hot. If so get a laptop cooler and turn on the A/C!

R5 M230 is a very low end GPU. However this is expected on laptops. Don't worry about it all laptops are poor for the price point.
