Low Performing R9 290

Hey All,

I have been using Tom's Hardware for a long time now. I just wanted to post this to thank everyone. Long story short my R9 290 was running at only 330 MHZ, i tried everything everyone suggested and saw that my CPU was at 100C and 100% Utiliz. Replaced my CPU cooler with a Corsair H75 and my rig is back to normal maxing everything out. Thank you everyone for posting all your threads.

Try RimWorld for a good colony building survival game. Been playing Empyrion - Galactic Survival recently to get OK at it before going multiplayer. Very good game so far. It is similar to Space Engineers. Give those a try if you are in to those types of games.

I am a huge fan of Wipeout XL and Wipeout 3. BallisticNG is a crazy good anti-grav racer that is very similar to the Wipeout series and it is free! I picked up Redout the other day and not surprisingly was very disappointed. Disliked it so much I had to get a refund. Sublevel Zero is a pretty good 6dof game like the old Decent.
