Just upgraded from HD7870 to a 970gtx. Ran 3dmark and everything looks good apart from the low physics score (5142) - best i can get. I have found a few other similar threads about this but know one seems to have an answer.

Current rig:
i5-3570k - stock
GA z77-d3h rev 1.0
Corsair CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3
MSI 970gtx

3dmark score

Does anyone have any ideas?
Cheers

Only thing I see in those results is that 3dMark is reporting your ram running at 667mhz. DDR@667 actually runs at double so it appears to be running at 1333mhz. But your ram is rated for 1600mhz (so 3dMark should be reporting each module running @800mhz). 3dMark may not be accurate on the ram speeds - try checking with cpu-z. But make sure you have your ram configured in the BIOS using the XMP profile. If you didn't configure the ram in the BIOS it won't run at full speed.

I noticed that also. CPUZ reports it differently.
Which should I trust?
I have tried a few things in the bios settings such as turning power saving features off, updating bios, turning off turbo boost. Temps go up to around 70...is this too high?
I also ran cinebench with this result. Is this also low?
