Low power for torrent and NAS

What's a better substitute to replace my 'power-hungry' PC to obtain the ff:
1. low-power for 24/7 torrent downloading
2. browsing
3. media sharing/streaming (perhaps e-sata?)

Was initially thinking of a NAS but browsing will require the use of a PC. OTOH, was also thinking of a netbook, but USB might be slow for streaming.

Try a NAS and use a bookshelf PC with an Atom CPU. ASUS has them for around $250 to $350.
