Hi,

I have 2 machines both in need of a graphics card that dont use alot of power but can play Minecraft for my nephew. Don't plan on upgrading the machines any further so don't need a card that would bottleneck in the listed machines. Just trying to see what my options are but I know the machines ran a AMD HD 5670 and a Nvidia 8800 GT fine. Would upgrading to a 750TI be worth it? Thinking most likely of putting the graphics card in the first machine. I know the recommended for minecraft is NVIDIA GeForce 700 Series | AMD Radeon Rx 200 Series but probably need one of the cards that uses around 60W of power and doesn't hook up to PSU

First Machine is a Dell XPS 8100:
Intel Core i5 -650 processor(4MB Cache, 3.2 0GHz)
8GB DDR3 SDRAM at 1333MHz-4x2G

350 W PSU

Second machine is a Dell XPS 420:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Processor 2.4GHz
4GB DDR2 RAM
375 W PSU

The minimum requirements for Minecraft is something like a GTS 450 IIRC.
The recommended, is much more, of course.

Something like a GT 1030, GTX 750/750TI etc would be solid options and pair well enough with either CPU.... some of the 750TI's are 75W (PCIe powered only), but some do require a 6pin.

I would expect the i5-650 to be the more viable of the two
