Question Low Powered AMD Ryzen 5 2400G server

Hi All

I am looking for a low powered file server. I have on hand a AMD Ryzen 5 2400G GPU so using it seems a good idea and I also have 2 x 2tb wd 3.5" drives and 1 x 2.5" ssd. I don't know how to research a motherboard or ram. As quiet as possible as well. We intend to use it to serve movies mostly but also to store music and photos. And as cheap as possible.

You could reduce the memory to 16GB (2x8GB), but I would stick with 32GB for a server.

You can play with PCPartpicker to "shop". I started the list with your CPU model so the site would present compatible options.

That being said, you can go cheaper with many of the recommendations previously made. I recommended stuff I would be comfortable (enough) with to share. I did not completely cheap out.
