I'm looking for a computer for my home theater. I will only stream on Netflix HD, Amazon HD, Youtube HD, and play blu-ray discs.

What processor+Ram+graphics card will be have low energy consumption but good enough for HD videos?

My friend says AMD A8+Radeon 7560D+8 gigs of ram @ DDR1600 would be minimal.

I would like more information. I was thinking of buying this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883220401

Edit: Price is important, but so is being able to play HD flawlessly. I would go to down to AMD A4, less ram, less powerful graphics card if it will play HD videos.

Solution
Either one of those systems will do, but understand you're going to need to upgrade to a Blu-ray optical drive, and software that knows what to do with Blu-ray discs when you stick them in the drive, or you won't have the ability to play a Blu-ray disc.
You mate is trying to waste your money

You don't need much at all to do what you planning..

The only time you might need a bit more grunt is if you plan to recode/transcode video streams as you watch in HD..
e.g. if you want to convert an MP4 film into a AVI format in real time as you stream it to your TV.

Cheers
