No confusion at all I'm sure. Looks like the official name is Intel® Core™ 7 processor 150U, lol.

It has the full 96 execution units of Tiger/Alder/Raptor according to ARK so I'm surprised the 740M is beating it.

And it'll likely be compared to the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H or the Intel Core Ultra 9 185H so it makes sense and is not very confusing when in context.

Still, the average person isn't shopping for a CPU, they're shopping for a computer.

As am I, I would expect a stronger showing in games, I guess drivers may have room for further optimization for Geekbench 6. The original Design has issues though as chips and chees exposed, but that is more prevalent when the GPU is scaled up and has access to speedier memory, at the low iGPU that should be less relevant.
