here is my build atm, I do apologize for not being clear, there honestly isnt much space between my gpu and cpu. Im looking for a lower profile CPU and GPU cooler actually.
Yeah i just tried it and im not sure why. I used the tomshardware url link but it didnt pull up. And the url i saved under my account on pcapartpicker isnt saving. My cpu is an i5-4690k... and my gpu is a gigabyte gtx 970 the mini itx version. thanks again and sorry for the mishap
Not so much the height as the width, Ive never installed a cooler so I am unaware of how bulky they are. I definitely want a liquid cooled one though. Also what wattage can I expect from one of these?
The specs indicate "Top panel supports max 240mm water cooler installation". A Coolermaster Nepton 240M or a similar cooler would certainly keep your CPU cool.
240mm is roughly 10 inches.... I only have room for a 5 inch cooler... the fan behind the cpu is 5 1/4 inches. Any suggestions for a good cooler around that size?
thanks so much for the help

The issue is not the fan in the back, it's the DVD-RW that limits the size of the cooler that can be mounted on the top panel. According to http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Deepcool/Steam_Castle/5.html it should be easy to install a 140mm top-blow cooler (like I suggested). If you want liquid cooling, then check the Cooler Master Seidon 120V that should fit.
