Low Profile CPU Cooler

I recently built myself a pc and have been using the stock intel heat-sink but i would like to replace it with something to keep it all a bit cooler. I have been looking at a sealed unit water cooler such as the Corsair H55 however this is slightly out of my budget, would anyone know of a decent cooler (water or air) that would also need to fit into a small area as I'm using an m-ITX case (and preferably be relatively affordable)

Its a Bitfenix Prodigy, so max hight of the cooler would probably be 150/160mm and the CPU itself sits quite close to the graphics card so can be much wider than the stock cooler

I don't think that you are too constrained by the prodigy case. there are plenty of non-low profile coolers that should fit. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Arctic-Cooling-Freezer-CPU-Cooler/dp/B0048F64DU for instance. might be worth looking up some prodigy builds and see what others are using.

I suggest the one that 13thmonkey suggested, it is cheap, low-profile and should be able to fit in your CPU. The Prodigy case should be big enough to carry it.

You can easily use Coolermaster Hyper 212 evo, or 412S-Slim or 612 It will fit and give a really good cooling parformance
