Low Profile CPUs

Hey I'm new and just had a few questions. I am trying to upgrade my computer's CPU.
Are all CPUs compatible with a low-profile desktop? (I use a Dell OptiPlex 745) If not, does anyone know if the Intel E8500 is compatible? I'm looking at it on Newegg.com right now and I dont see anything saying that its Low-Profile.
And my last question, does anyone know any good low-profile CPUs if the E8500 isnt compatible?

well, you would have to check with dell to see if your motherboard would be able to use the E8500
