Do Low Profile Cards sacrifice performance? For example will the 1050 TI LP card be different than its regular size version?

Yes normally a low profile graphics card is going to be less powerful than a standard size. It's also going to have less cooling ability due to the limited cooling options. It'll also draw less power.
