Hi, I am looking for a low end GPU like GT710, which has Auxillary Power connector. My Mother is very old so I fear it might go bust if GPU draws 25w from it?

Solution
No low end video card would have a power plug, unless you buy an old and slower gaming card like the 9800 GT or something. Either way, the card will still draw power from the PCIe slot, just because there is a power plug on the card does not mean it does not use PCIe power.

Anytime you add in something to a system there is an increased chance of something breaking, but it's not something unreasonable to do when you add a video card. Don't know what you need the video card for, but a GT710 is basically a way to add more video ports to a computer, it's too slow for games.

This old PC is used only for web browsing. Most of the sites now a days have tons of pictures. It takes time to load these pages. I thought by adding a GPU the pages might load faster.

Not really, the issue is more likely to be with the CPU, RAM amount or internet connection speed.
