hi all!
I need a low profile (under 140mm, preferably flat) cpu cooler to go with my ITX mobo and i7 6700k CPU! been looking at noctuas ( NH l9i)for now (havent had time to research more).
Main concerns:
size- the lower the better because it goes in a tiny core v1 case and it will be transported frequently in a car trunk (in a box and all that but still) so I am worried about it shearing off or bending or breaking or damaging the CPU underneath it. so i would kind of like to avoid the classic cpu cooler- sitting on top with a massive heatsink and fans resting on the CPU and hanging on only via the cooling tubes, if that makes any sense
I want to OC the 6700k as well so it has to be a decent cooler capable of supporting that (tho from what i understand the cpu runs cool-ish anyway so thats not a huge problem).
any and all suggestions appreciated greatly!
