I can't connect to my internet on Ubuntu on my notebook because of the very low range. However, WiFi works seamlessly on my Windows partition. I'm using a wired connection right now.
How can I solve this issue?
well what wireless standard are you using in Ubuntu and what wireless standard are you using in windows?
that might be the issue as wireless b is a shorter range than wireless g, n and ac
I can't connect at all because Ubuntu says it is 'Out of Range,' even though I am inches from my router and the only way I can find out my wireless standard on ubuntu is by connecting wirelessly (which I obviously can't do)
Basically, I have no range at all now. How can I fix this?
I do not know, what is your notebook configuration and what is your Ubuntu version? However, If your operating system is the old, then you have to update the operating system. I think that you WIFI problem will remove from your notebook.
