The higher clock speed, the lower results. Sounds weird, right, but that's what I'm getting on cinebench:
4.5GHz - 487
4.6GHz - 482
4.7GHz - 452
Last time I scored only 357pts!!

Meanwhile on cpu-z test my 4.7GHz score is decent and on single core I'm on par with 9590 & i7 2600, outperforming i5 2500 & FX 9370.

Any explanations?

Hello!

Have you tested to see if you're running at the full 4.7GHz??? I'd run cinebench with task manager open and see if it's providing a consisted 4.7 GHz. Also I'd run the benchmark alongside core temp to see if the thermals are reaching tj max, as to know whether the chip is thermal throttling. If it it, I'd dial back the overclock.

Hope this was of some help!
