Low ssd benchmark result + questions

Hi, I just performed some benchmark tests on this ssd -> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820239374
,the result is rather weird... After doing some readings and search the forum I realized other had asked the similar question. I am not getting the advertised performances...

Here is the result,

System specs:
windows 8
intel i7-3770k
16gb ram
ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 (bios updated version 2.7)
no firmware update for V+200 model (if I wasn't mistaken)

1. Did some ssd tweaks (system restore disable, indexing disable, hibernate disable, limited 1gb on cache (just in case), ram disk created (with AXTU), and so fore...)
2. Pretty sure it's plug into intel sata 3 port (Sata3_0_1, not ASMediaA0-A1).

For the sake of learning, any enlightenment would be great.

I would double-check the port that it's connected to. See page 13 of your motherboard manual for the location of ports SATA3_0 & SATA3_1.

page 33, serial ATA3 Connectors, Sata 3_A0_A1, SATA3_0_1, and I plug the cable to Sata3_1...

If you currently have the drive connected to SATA3_1 then change it to SATA3_0 and see if that helps. Also double-check that the port is in AHCI mode.

same result. AHCI mode is enable by default, and doubled checked, it's enabled...

Your benchmark results appear to be normal and in-line with results by several SSD review sites:

You probably need to benchmark with ATTO if you are looking for the advertised 535/280 Read/Write speeds.

If you have run a lot of benchmarks then you should probably let your system idle overnight to allow TRIM & Garbage Collection to restore drive performance.

CrystalDiskMark defaults to random data; to see those high benchmark numbers, you need to set it to easily compressible data. Go to File > Test Data > All 0x00 (0 Fill).

Thanks for the responds!!! Just want to say how ignorant of me trying to find advertised speed, when it doesn't really matter at all. I am still getting all the performance benefits regardless, like 4sec boot time, high speed rendering and so forth...
