Hi,
I recently put together a new system. Now I'm a bit confused.
I got my self a Intel core i5 4690k but my Vcore voltage swings between 0.2 and 0.7. How can that be? I haven't been in and playing with any over clocking settings.
Is it a faulty MB, power supply or CPU?

Hardware monitor Nuvoton NCT6792
Voltage 2 3.39 Volts [0xD4] (AVCC)
Voltage 3 3.38 Volts [0xD3] (3VCC)
Voltage 7 0.35 Volts [0x2C] (CPU VCORE)
Voltage 8 1.78 Volts [0x6F] (VCCIN)
Voltage 9 1.50 Volts [0x5E] (DRAM)
Voltage 10 11.35 Volts [0x81] (+12V)
Voltage 11 5.12 Volts [0x80] (+5V)
Temperature 0 33°C (91°F) [0x21] (SYSTIN)
Temperature 1 6°C (41°F) [0xB] (CPUTIN)
Temperature 2 4°C (38°F) [0x7] (AUXTIN)
Temperature 3 38°C (100°F) [0x26] (TMPIN3)

I hope some of you guys can help me find the problem

Thanks

ah, thank you. I was worried but thought it might be power saving feature. well I guess as long as its low voltage and not over voltage its nothing too scary

that was originally one of the big haswell selling points when it launched, the way it can lower its vcore is amazing if you care about performance. if you dont want it just disable all the c states eeist in bios and manually set the voltage to the stock one its got, anyway glad i could help
