I recently got a new monitor for christmas and all of a sudden my fps is lower and the game looks slightly pixelated. on my old monitor, i used to get about 100 fps on Rainbow six:siege and now with my new monitor, my fps seems to be limited to 30 fps max. I have not changed any settings in-game ir to the degault monitor settings.

Another thing is that when on my home screen and on google, the picture looks very crisp and clean... the ideal look for a good pc. Except... when i open a game, it looks worse than with the old monitor...

I'm also not good with computers so i am not sure how to find the new resolution and stuff.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Solution
Check your game settings for "Vsinc" Its probs set to "half" which means it will lock your fps to half your monitors refresh rate. Put it on full for 60fps cap to reduce screen tearing or turn off for max fps.
Also in game settings check for resolution and put to the one with "Recommended" next to it. The resolution is the most likely reason it looks Pixelated.
Should work :)
