Question Lower score on cinebench when in oc

Hi I just wanna ask someone if you can help me
Why my stock cpu is higher than the overclock cpu when it comes to cinebench scores I don't really know the reasons behind this but my overclock is good the voltage itself is good too
Stock=3.62 ghz
Oc=4.2 ghz



my cpu is fx cpu it's my old cpu and I know its really old but I just want to experiment things if you can help me to answer this thank you so much 😃

It's most likely an unstable overclock.
 
I agree with Loaf, Sounds like an unstable overclock.

A few things though, what FX CPU do you have?
What motherboard do you have?

There were a lot of motherboards back then that would work with a FX 8 core CPU but couldn't handle the CPU once its overclocked, a lot of boards, lower ends ones would ended up throttling the CPU under load when the VRM's got to hot. so it would be nice to know what motherboard you are using.
