I'm not sure this is possible, but I came across someone in Black Ops 3 today that said he was DPI Switching. Basically, what it does is when you aim down sights in the game, it automatically lowers your DPI from, say 2000, to 1000. The DPI settings are customizable, but that's just an example. I feel like this would greatly help me, as I am struggling with the ADS mechanics in the game. I'm used to ADS'ing and the sensitivity of the game drastically lowers, which makes it easier to aim; however, I haven't noticed that same level of lower sensitivity in this game. I'm wondering if you can help me DPI Switch. I have a Razer Deathadder
I can't just play at a lower sensitivity or lower DPI because then my regular sensitivity is too low and I can't hip fire properly. I don't want to create a hotkey in Razer Synapse, I want to be able to right click (toggle ADS), thus lowering my DPI, then right click again and raises my DPI to it's normal setting.
I'm not sure if it's possible to do something of the sort, but if any of you have done something like this, please let me know.
I've tried using autohotkey, which in turn changes my Windows pointer speed setting, not DPI, and this does not translate into the game. When I right click, I cannot ADS.
