Lower the minimum fan speed 40% at idle in a gigabyte gforce 660 gtx

I want to lower the minimum fan speed in a gigabyte gforce 660gtx from 40% to I would say 30% at idle.
I am using afterburner but I can't go below 40!

Have you ever came across this?
Do I have to modify the bios to do so?

The minimum possible speed is 40% with those programs and it is unnecessary because the card is below 30C at idle.

Are you certain? go to settings in evga precison,fan tab, then u have a graph in which u could choose what fan speed the card will work in a set temp.
if that dosent work, then iam guessing the only way would be to modify your bios, which can void your warranty

There is a yellow line that marks the minimum for the card.
I guess you have a minimum for your card as well, if you set the speed below that line it does nothing, the fan just spin at 40 the minimum.
