I would like this build for a little less. As for the performance if you could make any changes that wouldn't significantly affect it would be great so it would handle the games I want to play. I would also like any suggestions on a cheaper monitor that would be at a reasonable price.

Paying too much for the performance you would get. This is cheaper, and has a better GPU, and larger, IPS, monitor.

Your power supply, case, and ram are all unnecessarily expensive.

well, do you have any spare parts from your old rig, or is this your first machine?
- because you can reuse your case, keyboard and rat to save money.
- cheaper case can help a bit.

also, if you ditch the keyboard and mouse, you can go from zero to hero by getting geforce gtx970.

drop your ram for this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820226345 a lot faster and $14 cheaper
change your case out for something cheaper. I just moved from a $450 XSPC H2 to a $80 Corsair 200r and cant tell the difference other then size, temps from one computer to the other are still the same.

Just between those two items you can upgrade from a 760 to a 970. You can also save money if you dont need a dvd drive, barrow one to install the os or use and old one if you have it laying around.
