Lowering Computer Temperature

I just built my first computer and I was wondering how I could lower it's overall temperature. My build is
CPU: AMD FX8320 with stock cooler
GPU: R9 380 2gb
RAM: 16 GB (4x4)
Mother Board: Gigabyte 78LMT
Case: Corsair Air 240
PSU: 600W EVGA
Right now just browsing the web the CPU will be in the mid 40C and the stock fx 8320 CPU fan sounds like a chainsaw, but I only have one stock case fan (exhaust) operating as my MOBO only supports one fan. I just ordered two Corsair 120SP fans for intake which I plan to hook up directly to the PSU and a Corsair 120AF that I plan on using to replace the now running stock case exhaust fan. Will this help my temp? I want to start gaming with it but I don't trust it to not overheat. Also, should I have gotten regular air flow fans instead of the SP ones? What can I do to make sure my temps stay low? I know water cooling is the best option but I don't want to risk messing up the CPU taking off the stock CPU fan since I'm new at this.

Just the stock CPU cooler that came with the FX 8320. It's pretty much the only fan in there beyond the GPU's fans and the one case fan that's running. How much of a difference would adding more/better fans make?

It could make a difference but not much to the core/package temps which you should be worried about. Also if you're using that mobo avoid CPU Temps. The so called CPU Temps are always 15-16c higher than the core temps on this mobo. It's a glitch. What are you core/package temps while gaming?

I just installed all my new case fans today and the CPU fan isn't nearly as loud as it used to be. I played Planetside 2 on max settings and my temps were
CPU: 40
GPU: 62
MOBO: TMPIN0: 50
TMPIN1: 47
TMPIN2: 55
