- Laptops have GPU and iGPU working together to achieve higher performance and higher power efficiency and have some switching between them going on at system and software level, so changes to one graphic would affect the other one.
-While in desktops running your computer through one of the graphics ( connecting your monitor to your elected graphics port) automatically excludes the other one from the show (which will run at it's minimal clocks)
