lowest card I can get away with

Hi

My personal rig has reached old age, and it does not run the newest games, its a 1100t phenom and a nvidia 660, monitor is 1080 and 60hz, now I have 2k rig that my son plays mostly so that rig is my main power machine, What I would like adivce on is what is the smallet cheapest GPU upgrade i can just about get away with to play the upcoming Destiny 2 and Biowares Anthem, As my monitor is only 60HZ I see it as a waste to have my rig run at anything that far above 60Hz, so the challenge lies in not getting the most bang for my buck , but getting just enough bang for my buck to get these new games around 60HZ with my existing CPU, Its like how low can you go

Yeah best call, anything more would be bottlenecked massively and at least the 1050ti hasn't been too affected by miners. 1080p 60 fps with less CPU intensive games should be easily doable with that setup.

1050 ti could still be problematic depending on motherboard.
Most older boards need a bios update to be able to run the current gen graphics cards as they are now EFI boot only, and no native support for legacy bios.

Thus you need to research to see if your board is even compatible, otherwise you will be forced into getting a 950 or 750 ti
