Hey guys,

I'm a pro VALORANT player in MENA region, and I wanted to build a new PC, and I was looking to achieve the lowest end-to-end system latency, I already own the 240hz XL2546K and high tier Esports-ready gear.

But I also will play, The finals, Apex Legends, CS2, GTA5, etc

I've always heard Intel has the lowest input lag and much snappier than AMD, but since the X3D versions came out ppl been saying everything latency-wise is fixed specially the 7800X3D since it has only 1 CCD, and there are no 2 CCDs like before that need to intercommunicate and wait to pull the requests/actions, etc.

So I'm stuck between these 2 options.

Intel Setup:
I7 14700K
MSI VENTUS 4070 3X E OC 12G
GIGABYTE AORUS Z790 ELITE AX DDR5
Corsair Vengeance 32GB 6000MHz (there's one AMD EXPO CL30 and there's another one Intel XMP 32/36, Idk if the AMD is compatible with XMP motherboards.)
DeepCool LS720 360mm
WD SN850X 1Tb SSD

AMD Setup:
R7 7800X3D
MSI VENTUS 4070 3X E OC 12G
GIGABYTE AORUS B650 ELITE AX DDR5
Corsair Vengeance 32GB 6000MHz AMD EXPO CL30
DeepCool LS720 360mm
WD SN850X 1Tb SSD

I really wanna know which one has the lowest input lag and snappier than the other.

Thanks in advance <3

You forgot to include the make and model of the case. At a glance, since you you haven't mentioned where you're located and how much each part costs with regards to your country, the above listed builds look fine though one very obvious issue is that both your builds lack a PSU to either of the builds.

If you're recycling an older PSU, please mention the make and model of the unit and it's age + what it powered thus far.

I'm in Egypt but I'll order from Amazon UK since it's way cheaper, also I will buy the PSU and Case from Egypt, idk which one's yet but I will see the available options.

I just wanted to know which setup would acheive the lowest latency.

What latency do you mean. It is not likely you are going to be able to detect any delays between cpu and memory.
I've always heard AMD has high DPC latency thus resulting in overall high system latency which something I really don't want at all, I want the PC to be snappy ingame and no high input lag since it matters to me the most more than the frames in VALORANT (My game)

I can't see why the cpu would be that different. DPC stuff is related to video drivers in most cases.

Maybe someone else actually knows but you have massive amounts of people that buy the 7800x3d because of the benchmarks that show it runs almost every game better.

You would think if this was not true we would see lots of reddit posts complaining.

Yeah U right, but thats when it comes to FPS , not PC latency, which for me both are important but I don't want a combo that has high system latency overall.

In which case, I question why you're looking at the overpriced RTX 4070 12GB? Most gamers like it for DLSS as it's free performance....but at the cost of latency. You'd be better off with the RX 7800xt.
I honestly feel like NVIDIA is much better in terms of performance idk, I've always been team green, so I tbh don't think I wanna take any risks or like get used to something I'd notice that changed.
