is there anybody out right now with a pixel pitch lower then .264, and will there be lower ones on LCD's in the near future?!?!?

I bought a new Sony E540 but it's killing my eyes for some reason (refresh and brightness is set properly)

I dont wanna buy a new (cml174 possibly) and learn next year that they have .24 pixel pitch LCD's

19" LCD's with a 1600 x 1200 resolution have a pixel pitch of 0.242

20" LCD's with a 1600 x 1200 resolution have a pixel pitch of 0.255

16" LCD's at 1280 x 1024 resolution have a pixel pitch of .248

The pixel pitch times the resolution determines the panel size. Thus all the same size panels at the same native resolution have the same pixel pitch.

Thanks for the information,

now how about you ship me a CML174 to Canada for free 😛

*poubts how us citizens get free shipping*

gemini8026...you need to check out shipping prices from the U.S. to anywhere in Canada...outrageously expensive. Maybe that's why MonitorsDirect doesn't ship outside the U.S.

Believe me we know. We have explored our options many times, we would love to sell to our friends up north.

The biggest problem in shipping to Canada is getting the product across the border. In order to ship a single unit we must hire a customs broker, ship it to a bonded warehouse, have it clear customs, then ship it to the end user. All the fees (2x shipping) the brokers and warehouses charge add enough cost that it would be cheaper for you to purchase it locally.

I understand. It really isnt fair. I order a lot of electronic goods from the states and it's ALWAYS an adventure. As well as with an $$$ product, many things can go wrong and with warranty work it gets expensive.

Sorry for the little tyraid. IT just drives me crazy when I see the same unit in Canada for SO MUCH MORE.

I cant find a CML174 up here period 😛

Have you tried calling Hitachi Direct...1-800-536-6721...maybe they can help you find someone in Canada that will carry them in the near future...
