[SOLVED] Lowest Tier GPU for 3440 x 1440p WoW BFA

Looking for the lowest tier GPU for 3440 x 1440p monitor, I mainly play WoW. Just want to hear your expertise on this please.

for 60fps i think 1070 is lowest ppl recommend unless you dont mind low settings then 1060 6gb should work.

Thanks for the info, I like to play at high setting, how ever knowing WoW doesn't rely on GPU as much as CPU, that's why I was thinking to go with lowest tier, didn't want to go for something 1080 or 2080, didn't want to spend the extra money for something that would be an overkill for WoW.

I’d go with a 1070 or better due to the added width. And that might still be cutting it close.

Thank you, performance wise, would the 2070 be a better choice or no difference, knowing 2070 falls in the same tier of 1070, worth spending the money?

Wouldn’t say 2070 is same tier - it’s 30+ % faster than a 1070 and a bit faster than a 1080. But, 1070s are going for $350 and 2070s are $500 so about 40% more.

Up to you, but think I would get a 2070 if budget allows.
