should i choose the h55 ?
Personally i would steer clear of lower tier AIO liquid cooling kits. If you the the room then you have lost of options. If the ambient temperature is too hot where your PC is then maybe liquid cooling is the better choice.
Why steer clear of cheaper AIO kits you ask... From what people tell me and what benchmarks I have read, they perform on par with an HS/F option anyway, but more expensive. You could spend half as much and get the same temps, in most places.
Do you know a smaller am3 air cooler that might be good for me?
There is a long list of CPU Heatsink/fan coolers that are AM3 and AM3+ compatible. The most popular choice is the Cooler Master Hyper Evo 212 for it's low price and decent cooling, On Newegg's Site there is about 4000 reviews for it.
If you have the space then get one. They're cheap. I would look around to see if you can find a good deal though.
Check Newegg or PCpartpicker Easy to sort by price , fan size, ect... Here is a link to the HS/F section

If you don't know the Size(mm) fan you need then you may need to measure to see if it will fit your case.
92mm is probably the size of your Fan on the AMD Stock Heatsink, double check that though.
ARCTIC Freezer 7 Pro Rev. 2(24.99) and the Noctua NH-U9B SE2 92mm(59.99)
