If my mage character was wearing a LRC suit totaling up to 100% could she
cast unlimited spells without carry any regents?

Yes. I have one myself. Very useful piece of kit. Also, it doesn't seem to
matter if you go over a little bit. I think mine's around 104% but the game
rounds it off to 100%.
Of course you still have to worry about mana so a suit you can meditate in
is considered best by many.

Yeah, I just got my first one as well for my new mage char, Aratine. Saying
that 20% of the LRC is thanks to the Alchemist's Bauble, but it means that
the Bear Mask I was forced to wear before I can now discard. As TU states,
you need a "medable suit", so it needs to be leather or carry the "Mage
Armour" attribute in order to be able to meditate and build back up you mana
after a heavy session. Of spell casting, that is.

Hope this helps.

Shaun.

Mine has a jesters hat that I really do hate. Can't be too picky I suppose.

True, but don't you just hate it having to use items like that, that dont
fit the ideas you have for your characters? I paid 145K for the Alchemists'
Bauble, which I didn't really mind since I must have slaughtered hundreds of
Earth Ellies and EE Paragons in the Ratman mine MW of Sacrifice, without a
sniff of a minor artifact, so I simply used the gold that way. (Did get one
off a Ratman though - Blaze of Death - nice.) Once that was on Aratine's
wrist, the bear mask came off sharpish, I can tell you.

I'm only really a casual gamer myself so I've never even seen an artifact
outside of test centres.
I've got enough gold saved so I might look around for one.
Are bank sellers or NPC vendors considered best for buying from?

So don't do it.

Fair enough, but which is worse? Wearing a bear mask with 13% LRC, or using
regs?

🙂
