You just need money SC beta Keys are listed on Ebay as I type this and there is no way I would every pay 2-5x the asking price of the full game just to get into a beta

I heard that as well. The only thing I've seen working is the replays. Which is pretty cool in itself. However, from what I've seen of the gameplay and character models, not worth BUYING a free beta key. Hope people will listen to reason. The game will be out this year.

[citation][nom]Lunarion[/nom]Games fun so far but man roaches are overpowered! 125hp and full health in a few seconds of burrowed![/citation]

That's why it's in beta.

AI works if you get the right one. It's a pretty nice game but the AI in the beta isn't very good. Still fun for me though, as I'm not very good at starcraft to begin with.

For couple thousand bucks I can give you beta keys.
(now I didn't mention what the keys unlocked, or where I got them. But if you got the ca$h I got the keys).

Or Blizzard's plan is going to backfire when no one wants to play against people who've had the game months longer (and had months more to develop strategies and figure the game out) than the people who purchased it after the release date.

[citation][nom]HomiezHeadsup[/nom]you must be out of your mind to call Starcraft a button masher. If anyways its the antithesis of button mashing.[/citation]

Not many well-designed RTS games these days have a spell that should be used every time it's available but can't be auto-cast so that the user doesn't have to manually do it every N seconds. Most would see things like this as design flaws. However, some starcraft fans seem to think this is what RTS is about.
And it seems Blizzard agrees:
Zerg Queen's lava spawn can't be autocast.
Terran MULE can't be autocast.
Protoss warpgate can't be queued. Nexus's power can't be autocast.

There's no technical issues with making these spells autocast. And autocast would be useful for these, even for the best of players. Yet blizzard says you have to do these mundane actions yourself even if you're simply casting every time it's available (as is the best option in many circumstances).

Personally, if I have to do some mundane repetitive action every N seconds in order to remain competitive, I consider that button mashing.

I Need a friend with an invite! not just cause i want invite but i want to experence and help Blizzard with this Beta! and because i was 2 horus late of getting my pre order beta key from gamestop!!!
