Several German and Swiss organizations gave Lufthansa the approval to
buy Swiss International airlines.

Ups, don't get that wrong.. ;-)
SWISSAIR has gone bananas already three years ago. It's their more or less
unsuccessful successor SWISS which as been taken over by Lufthansa. However
the brand SWISS wil not disppear so quickly (My guess, no guarantee...)
