Hello,
My computer is locking on the "Welcome" screen and will not go any further. What is wrong with it?

Hi Rita,

Just something to quickly check. I've seen this happen if the PS/2 connectors for your keyboard and/or mouse are reversed (in the wrong connector). Does your computer use PS/2 for the keyboard and/or mouse? They are the small round connectors that are usually color coded purple for keyboards and green for a mouse. Your computer may not use them though, as USB keyboards and mice are becoming the norm. Something to check though and if that is not the solution, there is more we can check.
