Hi...

I'm not certain about one thing in the following tag line for a m.2 form factor SSD. What is the "x2" for and how does it differ to most which I see with "x4"?

The "x2" or "x4" identify how many PCIe lanes the drive uses to interface to the motherboard. An x2 NVMe has 1/2 the theoretical bandwidth. In usage, other than benchmarks, will you notice the difference? Probably not.

If your motherboard has an x4 NVMe slot, an x2 or an x4 will work without issues.
