M.2 960 evo not visible

I have installed a M.2 960 evo 500 gb and the drive is not visible on my pc. I have installed the drivers aswell ( my mainboard is MSI x99 godlike gaming)

Did you enable the drive in Disk Managerment? Scan for hardware changes in control panel? If it's not visible there, was it previously formatted or was it brand new?

If you can, try another SATA port on your motherboard if it's still not detected.

You will have to format it or add it to windows. I find the process, i had to do the same when i got the Cruciual Mx300 ssd. It wouldnt show up in windows till i did that
