M.2 and CPU

Hello,
I am not able to fine a firm answer, I am sure its out there. Building my 2ed PC after 10 years and there is a lot of new stuff. I have my CPU, Motherboard and M.2 and I just want to make sure I don't mess anything up when I put the build together. On newegg it say "Actual support may vary by CPU" with not finding out exactly what this is referring to I need some help. My build is below and I know I have a lot of hard drives.

CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 2400 (PC4-19200) C16 1.2V for AMD Ryzen and Intel 200 - Black

Bringing over from older PC
MSI GTX 960 Gaming 4G
3 Sata 1TB HHD
2 Sata 240 SSD
1 Sata DVD Drive

They should have said "Depending on CPU and it's number of GPU PCIe lines". If you are using one GPU than there's a lot of lines left free for M.2.

Refer to "1-8 Internal Connectors," for the installation notices for the M.2 and SATA connectors.

go read the manual
that m.2 is sata interface, so it probably use up 1 of the sata port.
you got another 6 sata device. that total up 7. should be ok. But read the manual
