M.2 capability question

I was wondering if someone could send me a link to what kind of M.2 drive is compatible with the z97 Gaming 5. There's a few different kinds and i'm just confused about the technology in general.

Basically any M.2 is compatible.
SATA - Samsung 860 evo, Samsung 860 pro, Crucial MX500.
NVME - Samsung 970 evo, Samsung 970 pro.
Note PCIE x4 M.2 drive will operate in x2 mode (reduced bandwidth).

M.2 Key M Socket supports type 2280/2260/2242 storage devices in both PCIE Gen2 x2 & SATA mode
