[SOLVED] m.2 compatible with motherboard?

so after ordering an m.2 ssd i found out after that not all boards take the same m.2, i have a msi tomohawk b450 motherboard and just ordered a western digital blue 3d nand m.2 2280 and not sure if it will fit into the m.2 slot

Yes it will work but you lose two Sata ports using the M2.0 slot on that motherboard.

MSI MPG X570 GAMING PLUS ATX AM4 Motherboard doesn't have that issue of losing Sata ports
