Question M.2 Drive functional; crashes occur after at least a day of uptime

My new system has been great, with the exception of occasional crashes. The crashes typically occur after a 24 hour period. At which time the system no longer detects my M.2 drive with my windows instillation, and boots into BIOS. I've found a work around which involves removing the system's source of power, and holding down the power button. (Power Cycle?) Although this allows me to continue using the system, if I don't repeat this step daily, crashes are inevitable. I've used SFC thinking the problem was corrupt files, and I was right. However the crashes are still persisting. I'm entirely new to how M.2 drives function. My question is, what would be the best course of actions, and what is a likely cause of these problems.

OS:

If you can go into BIOS, take note of your BIOS version and which slot the M.2 drive is populating on the board.

As far as what slot the drive is populating I'm not sure what information you want exactly. On the motherboard itself it's stated as M2_1
