[SOLVED] m.2 Drive Not Showing Up At All

I have an ASUS Zephyrus GX501, and I recently got a 1TB Crucial P5 to replace the 500GB SSD that was included. However, when I booted up my windows installer USB drive, it didn't detect the drive. I checked the BIOS, same thing. I got my bootable Ubuntu USB drive and couldn't see the drive at all. To keep things short, SSD was a gift that can't be returned or anything so I'd really like to get it working. Any help at all is appreciated!

Have you got the latest bios on motherboard?

if bios can't see drive, ubuntu won't either.
