Hi All

Asus Rog Strix GL503VD.
2 drive slot- M.2 and 2.5

I swapped out the 2.5 Main boot drive and using a ADATA M.2 SSD as the main drive. The drive "m. 2" operates at 68+ degrees Celsius rather "HOT". Will the drive fail on me?

Idles around 67-69.
Load 70+

Should i be worried?

What kind of load are you talking about? Like copying massive files or just running some programs? I have an ADATA M.2 SSD too I think they throttle once it gets too hot so I think its fine but it only get that hot when copying massive files.

No.
67-68 is the normal temperature after turning it on. With load it start to go 70+.
Haven't done any massive copy yet, but I'm sure if I did it would push up to around 80+.

The space where the m.2 is place is not well ventilated , wondering if that's why it's always that high.
