M.2 Hyper Kit not working?

I have a Z170 Deluxe motherboard (link: http://) It has one M.2 slot, 1 PCIE x16, and one PCIE x8.
However, when i put the M.2 drive on the hyper kit and put the hyper kit in an x8 slot it does not show up in the boot drives section in my BIOS. Is there a possible way in which I can put one drive in the slot, and put another one in the hyper kit and put that in a PCIE slot?
If there is not, I need to know how to get my motherboard to accept a M.2 Hyper Kit and show it in the boot drives.

Help would be very much appreciated 😀
