[SOLVED] m.2 install bricked one of my ssd's?

I just installed a new m.2 drive everything was working fine for a day, i shut the computer down to go to work, turned it on when i got back home and now one of my ssd's are gone? it's not showing up in Disk part, device manager or disk manager, I have swapped the sata cable with one of the dvd drives and also one of the working ssd's and it still doesnt show up anywhere, is there anything else I can do? or did this thing just poop the bed?

Using M.2 drive may disable some of sata ports.
Check motherboard manual about sata ports, that get affected.

Anyway - SSD can die too.
What model was it? How old?

If it really did die, then I highly daubt, if M.2 had anything to do with it.

its a team group 250gb and i just purchased it a few months ago the motherboard is a asus prime b350 pro can't find anything about m.2 disabling ports, thats a thing????

If that is not the correct User Manual then google

" 'X' user guide manual" where 'X' is your motherboard model.

Remember that the model number is important but version numbers need to be looked at as well.

I've had the asus prime b350-plus and the m2 slots share bandwidth with the sata 5/6 ports
So if you can connect them to 1-4, 5/6 won't work
