Hey guys! Hope someone can help me with this!
I'm currently running Windows 10 on my M.2 drive but for some reason the speeds of the drive aren't reaching their expected. After this, I ran it against my 850 Evo which, for some reason is outperforming the m.2

Running a Ryzen 7 1700x on a MSI B350 Tomahawk.
If you need anymore information, let me know!

For the 970, do you have Write Cache enabled? That might be the reason for the somewhat slow write speed.
Read seems to be fine.

Which BIOS version are you on for your motherboard? How many partitions do you have on your M.2 drive? I've seen those kind of numbers when a drive of that same make and model had more than 2 physical partitions(not counting the partitions created by Windows 10 installer. Also, which version of Windows 10 are you on?

So, it says my BIOS version is 23/01/2019. Perhaps a BIOS update? And there are no partitions present on the m.2.

I went in to device manager to disable Write Cache and these are the results now
