So I have a ASUS Rampage VI Extreme Motherboard with 2 Samsung SSD drives and 1 Samsung M.2 NVMe 970 Pro drive as well. I updated bios, installed the Samsung NVMe driver but my M.2 drive does not pop up in Computer Management/Storage/Disk Management. It does show that the M.2 drive is installed in Bios, as well as Disk Drives. Need your help.

Would go with the sata m.2 the pcie are still developing and the latency with the interface make it slower than sata m.2 but would stay with the Samsung you will not see the performance a new 370mb true nvme interface but you will still have great speed with the m.2 Samsung just make sure its for sata interface

I looked at the MB specs and didn't see nvme support. Has sata3 pcie for m.2 slot and your 970 evo is showing as scsi which may be why its not seen in disc management. according to asus different versions of the MB have different support specs for m.2

Appreciate it. I thought all M.2 were the same. What are your thoughts on purchasing a PCI-E adapter for NVMe?
