does any one now how to set up bios for a samsung 970 evo drive i have installed it on bank A port 1 can not get it to work spent hours if any one nows please share how. i`m starting to wonder if motherboard has a fault as bios cn not find it at all and windows NVMe driver from samsung wont install cant find it

Does your motherboard BIOS/UEFI recognize the SSD? Also, did you consult your motherboard manual to see what SATA ports conflict with the M.2 slot? And, do you have SATA devices plugged into those ports?

thank you for taking time to answer I've solved it I had to move m. 2 to bank 4 & remove sata 1. it shows as a boot able drive

move m. 2 SSD to bim. 2 marked as b and on the right hand side as you look at it. start windows install nvme driver from Samsung then set up disk i. n disk manager.
